From High School to Weddings!

Today's entry is dedicated to two of my wonderful friend's, who just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy today (Valentine's day)!!! Congrats to them and the beautiful family they have been blessed with.

I've known Vince (Groom) since High School. I love him! He's like a brother to me. We've had our tiffs and we've had our crazy laughs (the Patriot - inside joke!). We met in Social Studies during our 6th period. It was a dreadful class and I still remember the very first time we met! And ever since then we've been great friends and I've been fortunate enough to have gotten close not only to him but to his family.

So let's fast forward shall we... Waaaaay after High School, Vince came to my College Graduation from Cal State and told me he wouldn't be staying long because he had a date. I was so excited for him! Months later he told me he was getting married!!! And it happened to be with the one he went on a date with after my graduation party! If there's anyone deserving of LOVE, it's this guy! I was ecstatic for him!

I met Eileen (Bride) and loved her instantly. If anyone could love Vince and make him so happy, I would love them just as much! Eileen and I now work together as she is in the Wedding industry as well. She coordinates Weddings/Events and has a great portfolio. Please check her out at  Enamor Events. Vince & Eileen were wed on a hot summer day at the Monrovia Historical Museum. It was a nice 'backyard' feel type of wedding. Simple yet beautiful. They made everyone feel like family and had great food catered by one of my personal favorites Stonefire Grill. It was a great celebration!

10 years of Flowers & Love!

So i'm blogging like crazy today. I'm trying to make up for all the neglect this blog has received. I've been pretty busy and thankfully God has blessed Bloomeria~Floral Design with a great year (s) ! Thank you to all our past and future client's! Without any of you, BFD would not be where we are today.

This year marks our 10th year in business. 10 years of flowers and love! 10 years of being able to not only assist my own friends on their wedding day, but also those who truly trusted me as their vendor! It has been quite an experience and I can't be anymore thankful. More to come on our 10 years! And all the specials we have in store for all of you...

As a personal  note, I'd like to share someone very special in my life who has made my heart skip a beat every time he tells me he loves me and even when he tells me I'm crazy... lol! No one's ever been as honest with me as this guy has and  no one's loved me so much...

Rolan (aka E) and I got engaged on December 22nd. E got down on one knee at the restaurant he took me to on our very first date on Valentine's Day a million years ago. =) A day we both will never forget and now here we are a million years later planning the biggest day of our lives. I can't imagine my life without him....

Married in Sonoma, CA

The first time I spoke with the Bride, Diane it was an instant connection. I loved her from the beginning and felt like we've known each other for years. We talked all year via phone calls, text messaging and through email. We actually did not meet until the actual wedding day! I know... Crazy! But Diane was exactly if not more of what I expected when we finally met, she was beautiful in every way.

I loved our experience out in Sonoma, CA, feeling the warm breeze and lovely sunshine that hovered over us as we made sure everything for this day was as the couple expected. The wedding ceremony and reception were both at the Cornerstone Sonoma.

Diane and I continue to keep in touch and not only was I honored to have been part of their special day, but I now have a great new girlfriend!

Diane is now a lovely Mommy and is totally in love with her baby boy and her prince charming!

The happy couple were wed at the fabulous Houses of Worship of the Iglesia Ni Cristo/Church of Christ in the heart of Los Angeles, CA. The reception was then followed at the classic Castaway Restaurant in Burbank, CA.

Kelvin & Bobbie reside in Las Vegas, Nevada, however chose Cali to be their destination wedding to be close to family and friends. They were wed at the House of Worship of the Iglesia Ni Cristo/Church of Christ in the local of Anaheim, CA. Their most modern and intimate reception then followed at the Hotel Seven4One in Laguna Beach, CA. 

I absolutely loved her dress!!! Thank you Kelvin & Bobbie! Wishing you lifetime of happiness and love!

I've been trying to find the time and the right words to blog about this special couple. I've known them for quite some time and find them to be very dear to my heart. Ever since I've known Olga & Lendel, they've been together and 11 years later, they made their love official through marriage at the very place where their love all began, the Church of Christ/Iglesia Ni Cristo of San Gabriel Valley, CA.

Every time I look at the pictures and watch the same day edit, I get teary. I could not be more certain how much these two belong together.  It was a great YEAR of planning with Olga, a great time of celebrating with the couple and a great time to witness the love of two good people.

More photos and details to come! For now watch their same day edit, which make me cry EVERYTIME. Cheers to the happy couple! I love you both!

Joanne was a great Bride to work with and Oliver, the Groom has always been a comic. Joanne has great taste, so when they had chosen BFD to cover their florals, I was so excited! Their colors were a pale pink and grey. They were both looking for the simple, vintage, yet classy feel for their special day. I especially loved her cascading bouquet of lisanthia's, baby roses and freesia florals. 

Joanne & Oliver were wed at the beautiful House of Worship of the Iglesia Ni Cristo/Church of Christ in Montclair, CA. A beautiful reception followed at the Radisson Hotel in the city of Ontario. Both Bride and Groom have large families and were showered with love and joy on their special day. 

They now enjoy their lives together with their gorgeous baby boy Knox, who just celebrated his 1st Birthday! 

Thank you to the Villanueva's for choosing BFD! So happy for the both of you.
